Personal Bio
West Side Christian School is the greatest school and I love being a teacher here. I have been teaching at West Side since 1993 but I have a long family history here. My dad is a West Side graduate, so is my husband and both of our children.
I was born here in Grand Rapids and attended Sylvan Christian School, Grand Rapids Christian High School and graduated from Calvin College in 1978.
My husband Jim also works at West Side. God has blessed us with 2 children, Nick and his wife Rachel and our daughter Sarah.
One of my favorite Bible verses is our theme verse from 2007, "Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the Father through him." Colossians 3:17.
