Garden Entrepreneurs

Taught by Mrs. Janet Staal, AM Camp
What does it take to run a produce stand business? Young entrepreneurs will gain experience through all the ins and outs of running a business; marketing, calculating sales, harvesting, as well as managing sales. We'll take the fun of a lemonade stand to our school garden as our model of a mini-business. Campers will also be presented with the opportunity to learn through a field-trip at the Fulton Street Farmers market and transfer their new knowledge to designing the WSCS garden market.

Mad Scientists

Taught by Mrs. Joy VanderVennen, AM Camp
Students will have the opportunity to learn about science through some interactive and hands-on science activities. Our summer camp will allow children to become jr. scientists for the summer and embark on some science adventures. Our mission is to get kids excited about science and to build great life skills.

Theater Camp

Taught by Mrs. Julie Louwerse, AM Camp
Your child's inner drama queen or king will be put to creative use at during theater camp. Young thespians will take to the WSCS stage, as they learn the elements of theater, how to work as a part of a creative team, and how to use theater as a creative outlet to express themselves.
